FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What OS does it run?

The Stride80 timeclock is powered by a configurable Android system, enabling companies to port and run custom apps directly on the terminal.

What authentication methods are available?

You can equip the device with a fingerprint reader or traditional badge readers (RFID/Proximity) and digital PIN pads are also supported.

Does it preserve screen privacy?

The unit features a built-in presence sensor. When an employee steps away, the screen goes dark to prevent others from seeing private information and wakes up when someone approaches.

What happens if it loses internet?

The terminal will locally encrypt and store your employees' time punches. It automatically syncs all data to AutoTime application once network connectivity is restored.
